Bodywork

Normaly a quality body restorations starts with a good media blasting. Not now. Media blasting this body would mean at least 80% of the sample lost. Yes the sample. This bodywork is only worth as a sample. The whole body is to be recreated out of scrap. Take measurements, draw, reproduce, cut, replace, veld. Let the pictures tell the rest.

To take hold, we started on the windscreen frame. This should be our base for the long journey. This is a delicate part, and needs to be as firm and acurate as possible.

This was a very tricky panel.

After it is completed, we go below and replace each and every panel one by one.

Quite agricultural.

Meanwhile we also started the rear end rebuild. The procedure is the same.

Still a long way to go, but at least now we are starting to get somewhere.
